The City's Code Enforcement Officers notify private property owners of their responsibility to remove graffiti in a timely manner since graffiti on private property is the responsibility of the property owner. As our graffiti vandals become more creative — so does law enforcement. The City keeps a photo log of all graffiti and we work with law enforcement to monitor patterns and apprehend graffiti criminals. If a particular "tag" can be identified with a particular vandal we can cite for each incident documented. If you witness an incident of graffiti or vandalism in progress, call the Chino Hills Police Dispatch Center at (909) 465-6638. To report after-hours park activity (dusk to dawn) in progress, call police dispatch. If you are concerned about a pattern of after-hours activity in a park, please call Lt. Kellner at the Chino Hills Police / Sheriff's Department at (909) 364-2002. To report graffiti, please save the following telephone numbers:
* Graffiti within the City of Chino Hills — (909) 364-2820
* Graffiti on the 71 Freeway — Caltrans (909) 947-9358
* Graffiti in the Flood Control Channel — Army Corps of Engineers (626) 401-4000
We also have a volunteer graffiti abatement team where each team member has a "grab and go" bucket to quickly remove graffiti that they see in their neighborhood and community. These residents have volunteered to help the community battle this unsightly crime. To join the graffiti abatement team, call Dee Nadeau at (909) 364-2713.
