This summer, Tropical Smoothie Café and Warner Bros. Studios are blurring the lines of reality and fantasy for one lucky sweepstakes winner and thousands of movie and restaurant goers. Today, the two announced their partnership to promote the moviemaker's family-friendly, magical fantasy adventure SHORTS. To kick off the premier of Shorts, Tropical Smoothie Café in Chino Hills, owned by Chino Hills residents Marita Isidore and David Nerness, will be blending to perfection several of the chains favorite smoothies at the world famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Saturday, August 15th. The crew will also be handing out their unbeatable sandwiches and wraps, along with balloons, Pop Rocks candy (keeping in line with the new movie) stickers and the new Shorts crew member T-shirts to many of the 400 invitees.
Marita, the local café owner, is hoping that this opportunity will kick-off a new wave of Tropical Smoothie Cafes in SoCal, as so many customers who travel up to 30 miles continually ask…”when are you opening a store in my area?!”
