City Council members have approved funding for a new civic center. Construction is set to begin in December 2006. Starting with the police station, construction will include a city hall, a Chino Valley Independent Fire District headquarters and a library. The 200,000-square-foot civic center is planned to sit adjacent to the to Shoppes at Chino Hills. The shops at expected to be completed by March 2007.
